We are committed to the Bible-centred worship, preaching and teaching
By this we mean that our worship, preaching and teaching is centred on the Bible and clear in its application for living out the Christian life.
We are committed to godly servant leadership
By this we mean that our leaders follow the example of Jesus’ servant leadership as opposed to secular leadership models. In doing so they are encouraging a culture of servant leadership within the church.
We are committed to people being committed disciples of the Lord Jesus
By this we mean our people growing in obedience to God’s Word and in Christian maturity. These are demonstrated, for example, by such things as Christian character, regular church attendance, prayer, sacrificial giving and mutual accountability.
We are committed to all people of all nations: single, married, widowed, old or young
We are committed to developing strong Christian families
The family is the God-ordained unit on which functional communities are established. Strong Christian families in the church are essential for its future and are an important witness to the community and so we will do all we can seeing strong Christian families developed.
We are committed to prayer
By this we are acknowledging our complete dependence on God in every aspect of life and ministry. We therefore encourage all members of the church family to be faithful in both personal and corporate prayer for all aspects of the church.
We are committed to world missions
By this we mean were are committed to prayerfully and financially supporting people or ministries approved by the church, whether working in Australia or cross culturally overseas. We also are committed to encouraging, training and supporting people from our own congregation to participate in short and long term cross cultural ministry.
We are committed to financial responsibility
By this we mean that we are committed to using the resources God has given, both individually and as a church, for the growth of the kingdom. This includes being good stewards and giving cheerfully and generously.
We are committed to our people being seen and known as caring Christian people through our involvement in community activities
